Describe yourself

Hi I'm Dorian.Never done stand up yet.I want to so bad though.I've looked at countless Comedy Central Presents.Read countless articles,wrote countless jokes.But I have yet to find a routine I want use.I've read the book Step By Step by Greg Dean.It didnt help.It helped me write some jokes but still don't know how to write a routine.I've recently bought Stand Up Comedy by Judy Gold not finished but it just left me more confused.I would love some one who read it and understand it to go over with it with me.So I don't waste my money on another book.I know I.got the talent as long as I meet the right people.
