Thanks for telling me

I hate it when people know something about you before YOU know something about you.  Coming out to my parents was, what I thought, going to be the hardest thing in my life that I could possibly do.  At the time I was 18 years old, recently graduated highschool, barely just started college, and had no job. Had my admission gotten me kicked out of my parents house I would've been screwed, which is why I had to let myself mull over it while ingesting a few of my dads beers from his "secret"…

Happy Birthday, Judy Carter!!

I can't believe it's been 2 years since I did your class.  It was a real highlight of mine and helped me get my acting career moving.  When I lived in Minneapolis many comedy friends said, you must do the Judy Carter class when you move to LA.  Best of luck to you!!

Happy Birthday Judy

I hope your day is special, I can understand outliving a parent. My mother passed over in 1971 at the age of 42 so it does make one wonder. That's probably after I worked all of my life, I grew up to be a screenwriter and an independent film maker. I love to write a funny scene in a very suspensefull scene. The first time I did that I was laughing so hard at the situation I had just written that my wife came in to see if I had gone nuts yet. The laugh was on her, ha ha.

HAPPY…

Happy Birthday, Judy.  I heard you speak several years ago in Toronto and I remember the story about your mother.  It touched me in so many ways and it inspired me then and still does.  You have a tremendous gift of insight into people and draw the best, real and funny stuff out of people.  I did your workshop last November in LA.  Wishing you years and years of happiness, success and prosperity.  Warmest wishes, Jeanette Brox

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday, Judy.  So glad you made it past your mother's age.  Obviously, she was too young when she died.  So glad you are celebrating your birthday by sharing such wise wisdom for us all.  Yes, I agree, live is too short, we probably don't take enough risks (that is certainly true for me!).  I am, however, trying to change that.  Meeting you and working with you briefly at the Humor Bootcamp was indeed a start.  Thanks for all the information you share and give willingly.  Have a…
